Camp, did you touch it or give it a good sniff? Sap is pretty easy to tell... either super sticky or maybe completely dry and very hard, but it will smell piney. It will not come off with water, or even soapy water. To me, it does look like sap. Scooter has gotten into it several times. Cutting it off was the only way to get rid of it.Ranger has something weird on his belly. Wound? DH said pine sap, but he didn’t look at it. I tried to pull the straw but it was STUCK. Super stuck. So I hit it with the hose awhile, but no change. It just looks so weird and gross.
Any thoughts?
Hope it's as simple as that and that Ranger doesn't have anything serious going on.
