A few years ago someone here on BYC posted a U shaped entry to their coop for the same reason. No direct wind can blow in through that.

Not exactly. Health care costs, it is being paid for now. Just depends on how you fund "healthcare/Medicare for all". Currently very many people have employer paid (at least partial) health insurance. No reason that can't be funneled into a single payer system. Get rid of all the phony "price adjustments" that each insurance company has with all the doctors/hospitals/etc that accept their insurance.


No different here. DD2 had to wait from March until October to see an ENT so he could then schedule surgery after he looked her over for 10 minutes.

I am talking 2 years to get knee surgery with bone grinding on bone.

I keep my phone on because that has the alarm that wakes me up in the morning. I tried an alarm clock but cats kept knocking it on the floor!

All but one incubator unplugged, and i don't really expect them to hatch. Need to figure out where to store them after i clean them all. Maybe the garden shed.

I use my phone as a alarm clock. And I use the flashlight when I have to get up to pee in the middle of the night lol

Life threatening - they get you in pretty quick.

Quality of life threatening - Meah. You’re not dead yet.

Dust off the resume? I couldn’t do that now. Basically the reason for all the poop hitting the fan right now is the other admin is going through some anxiety/panic attack issues. So she’s gone more than she’s here right now (also my cursing for mental health situation - $50 anytime she wants to see her doctor regarding this and $50 every therapist session? Gosh. How can normal people afford that? Especially since she’s paycheck to paycheck as is.

At least boss lady is starting to come to the realization that she needs to train me and her son in some of the things other admin does. Not to take her job - but to make sure things still get done when she’s not here. Makes sense. But she’s also afraid to move too quickly since other admin is rather fragile right now too - so yikes. Bad situation all around.

Another wagonload of bunny poo out of the barn , and my new daylilly planted. Pulled more weeds, collected eggs, threw in the laundry to wash and i have a headache. Boiled a big stew pot full of eggs, fed the ones i already had cooked to the birds. The dogs did mooch a couple of them. Looks like it is going to rain. I wonder if i could get the compressor out of the coop before it hits. Bbl.

Yes, out healthcare should be single payer. It is too bad lobbyists run this country. Hope trump hurries up and finishes draining the swamp.

Maybe she needs to check herself into an inpatient hospital. Is it work stressing her or home life. ?

Perhaps she needs a therapy pet she can bring to work with her. Though I'm not sure how one trains a dog or other animal to help with anxiety/panic attacks.
