I want our place all fenced...13 acres. We always used to do DIY, but hubby is in no condition to be pounding posts.

I have 6.36 acres and I want that fenced and cross fenced. If I could hit the lottery I would so buy up all around me all I could. 20 ft wall around the perimeter with barb and razor wire at the top. Also get myself 8 big dogs to run patrols inside the wall.
We use the tractor bucket to push fence posts in. Tractor comes in handy for much of the work we do. We will be making some 16x16 hog pens so we can get the fence around the perimeter redone and finished off. I am sooooooooo anti-people. rather not deal with most people.

Robert is insisting we (European settlers) scalped before the Indians did.

We white people taught the Natives to do this during the French and Indian War. We paid them a price per scalp they brought to us. It was to prove they had killed the enemy.

I have a trio of Sheep I might part with for the right price. 1 Ram, 1 Ewe and 1 Wether.

Bout got killed by a tour bus on the Haleakala road 30 years ago. I was heading down the switchbacks, it came around a turn probably 1/2 mile from where I was, in my lane. I was on the outside, nothing but DOWN to my right. He NEVER got back in his lane, I was very lucky there was a wide part of the shoulder that I pulled into as he passed still in my lane. Almost a "new underwear" moment.

Then I returned the rental car and hung out on the beach for a couple of hours until my flight back to Oahu. Sitting second row from the back, prop plane. It starts to take off and we noticed the rear door was ajar. Then it wasn't ... because it had flown open and we were up several hundred feet. So the plane kind of made a square and landed. Other than those two things Maui was very nice.

Shortly after i was on one of those interisland flights they had an incident where a couple seats fell out of one of those planes! And then right after we were in a copter over the Grand Canyon, one of those went down! Timing is everything!

thats scary . Tom says if his car stalls he can get out and walk but he dont know how to fly.

As long as you can afford the proper fencing wire for the type of critters you're gonna keep. I just put up field fencing and tried keeping goats. Spent too much time getting their heads unstuck out the fence. Most aggravating.

You never know what can happen. I did have a phone call this morning telling me I won publisher's clearinghouse. On the landline I never use..... lol
