First time she went into her crate in the house and wouldn’t come out for toys or treats.

Baby bro had thanksgiving at his house tonight. Just him and wife, mom and dad, me and DD. DH stayed home with bubba.

We don’t usually celebrate both holidays so I was hoping that there was going to be a big announcement. But, not today. We still had a nice time.

Do you have a fireplace or anything for heat? My wood burning stove is my security blanket, and we rarely get below freezing. Granny has a fireplace, but don't think she has anything to burn.

Just tried calling granny.. I guess her phone doesn’t work either. It just rang and rang.

she probably has a wireless phone. We have a backup old corded phone for that reason.

yes tried that no budging and had to actually jump into the air and land on the fork to drive it into the ground. And I sure as heck am NOT going to temp fate for 40 feet of carrots. Plus I still could NOT wiggle/jiggle/plead/ or pry the buggers out.

BUT yes the carrots are MUCH sweeter after a few freezes.

Maybe you'll have a thaw, at least enough to pop those carrots out. 40' seems like a lot to waste.

We get a lot of robo-calls. If I suddenly disappear, it's because the robo-IRS acted on its robo-threat and arrested us for non-existent robo-backtaxes. what a scam. Hope nobody takes those robo-calls seriously.

I don't. But I AM waiting for the $10M Bill Gates is going to gift me. I got an email so I know it is true.

I cut the meat off the chicken we had the other night for supper and made soup for the chickens with the bones. Added old carrots and outdated rice. They thought they were in heaven!

They are, after a fact. WAY better than living at a commercial egg farm.

There are plenty of people in the world don't eat as good as that. Lucky chickens. Cannibal chickens.

My chickens don't really care what species the bones I give them come from. We don't do in our chickens so whatever they get came from a store or restaurant.
