I lost a bunch of birds overnight. Most of the young Jerseys and the Silkies. They apparently all went into the one hut that I want to burn where it stands.

hahahaa! She's got 3 dogs and 3 cats in the house! Every color of hair is going to be shed. Thank heavens for housekeepers!

way too many thats a fact but some dont shed and ya, a house keeper ! hahahahaaa I have gotten billed from them twice. they bill Tom and I separately . first time was $8.15 and $8.15 the second was $4.15 x2

Something disturbing today... #1 noticed the serama rooster's spurs have finally grown into the sides of his legs. I knew it was coming, but obviously haven't been checking well enough. Spurs are embedded... his right side is worse.

Thought I was in for a heap of trouble and a bloody mess, but it wasn't too bad. Clipped as close as possible and calluses must have formed since the spur tips came out with no blood.

So glad he caught it early. Lucky for that rooster #1 likes him and picks him up every so often. Guess this will be a regular maintenance thing.

Oh, he's got leg mites too.

Day was ok. Went to Costco and ordered some new glasses, then we brought pizza home for dinner. Warriors game, pizza, and a fire. Life is good!
