Me to mcmurrays birds were good.

I know they had to get all new stock a few years back. One of the outbreaks caused them to have to outsource some of the breeds. Somebody, I know that use to work there said they had something go through the flocks so the main place has only certain breeds. They have many birds kept away from the main hatchery. The person said the quality of the birds improved greatly.

I know the older birds are raise someplace in Texas.
Like when they sell 4 week old.

I’m working on the schedule for Christmas camp and I’m wanting to get away from the “traditional” meal. I think the kids aren’t excited about it like they used to be. I’m thinking or roasting several chickens or small turkeys and trying to incorporate more foods from other cultures. What is your fav Christmas dish? Can be dessert or side, or main. I don't know outside of traditional. You can get me to eat about anything as long as you serve it with mashed taters.

What kind of minerals? I don’t know how much longer I can keep Beaux with them. I’d like them to stay together but their nutrition might be too different? Every time I look it up I can’t really get a good answer.

We have blocks but we don’t keep steers. And if you have the goat in with them they will try to chew the block which is bad for the teeth.
I’ll look for some loose that you might be able to use for all 3. Other than hay what do you feed them? Gotta watch for blockages and UTIs

I hear ya. Have not been sleeping well with hubs gone. I’ll get used to sleeping on my own again and he’ll be back lol

Getting guesstimate done on car for repairs. ‘‘Tis but a scratch!!

Trying out some pee pads for peach today -supposed to get rainy this afternoon so didn’t want to leave her outside. Phew. Even fresh, they have a smell :/ pretty thin too...we shall see!
