Granny's gone and done it again

I miss my nugget. :( I need to get more of those in my next batch.

i dunno. My lorp hasn’t crowed yet. Perhaps he’s a mute.

I have seen a submissive male never crow in the presence of a dominant male. Soon as the dom male is removed, crowing commences. Most cockerels will challenge the top dude, but not all. You may be able to keep them both... maybe. But your Lorp is a male. For sure.

I’m working on the schedule for Christmas camp and I’m wanting to get away from the “traditional” meal. I think the kids aren’t excited about it like they used to be. I’m thinking or roasting several chickens or small turkeys and trying to incorporate more foods from other cultures. What is your fav Christmas dish? Can be dessert or side, or main. Just trying to shake things up a bit!
I like the traditional stuff! :p My brother made an apple-berry crumble that was delicious! I am not a fan of pie, so was very happy. Serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. :drool

Nothing wrong w/ talking to yourself I guess but she holds convos w/ imaginary peeps.
Sounds like she has schizophrenia. If so, the peeps she talks to are not imaginary to her, but are very real, and she can't tell the difference.

Hope your appointment goes well. :hugs

Hope he gets better soon.

He was feeling much better last night after the vet visit. He wanted to eat and drink. Which was what sent alarm bells off with me.

is this the OTR dog ? Has he had parvo shot ? Maybe the vet tested him for it ? I was just thinking if he walks them truck stops so do tons of other dogs. Hope he gets alright

He is up to date with his shots as he goes to Canada. To get the papers to cross the border with the Yorkies we had to give them all the shots.

Omg, you could have a new dog for that much!

This is my daughter's dog. She would be devasted to have lost him.

I understand. I paid $1600 to get my Papillon Jenny's surgery. Her ureters missed the bladder and went directly to the outside. So when she fell asleep urine leaked out. It was a genetic defect, and i had planned to show her. The breeder gave me another pup.

My daughter had a similar defect. A Kidney had its own exit and never hooked to the bladder. People did not understand how she was almost 7 before she potty trained. Until she had the surgery to remove the "non-functioning" kidney nobody had a clue. Removing the kidney and she was able to potty train. Except her, one kidney would release the urine while she was awake as well as asleep.

Sounds miserable.
