So do you and your husband each get their own salary?

Yep. His is way more because he’s full time. We also get insurance, housing, bills, cell phones, and meals when groups are here. We used to get internet but the services are all so slow that we canceled it at the house. With smart phones the way they are, it’s easy to not need WiFi or computers at home.

It was doing pretty good until the torture chamber lived up to it's name. It's not too bad.

How are you? All recovered from the smoke?

Found out from a school parent (whose daughter was sick) that we all probably had the flu. Her daughter had the same symptoms and she was tested for it. haha Guess I got my immunity the hard way!

I’ve wrapped all I can. I ran out of smallish boxes so I folded two cracker boxes inside out and glued them back together. They look better than they sound.

I used to do things like that, but have gotten lazy. I am a huge fan of gift bags... so easy and we reuse them, of course. Still, I think a wrapped package looks better and is more fun to open.

I always use gift bags, but Christmas packaging is just different. I want it to be as fancy as possible on the gifts I give.

Since the kids are older, our next step is to get us both in full-time jobs, but just live off one salary so we can save up. DH has applied and interviewed for a few positions, but ends up not taking them because they don’t seem like the right fit.

Camp. I guess you know your friend the best but dogs killing chickens is not good. If this is just bad patch in her life but really she needs to take responsibility for her dog or rehome it. What If it was a calf or something more valuable.
