You keep it yr round ?I have 3 cords strung up to the bantam coop... no mowing to worry about as it is mostly under the trees, and we only have to mow a half dozen times a year at most.

ohhh honey gorami is on my list.
Lol! I’d move it if I could. Closer at least. Carrying water is a chore at that distance.I was teasing! Don't really think you should move coops to the front yard just to string extension cords through the trees!![]()
when the weather is decent we mow 2-3 times a week! When the parent left over the summer for a couple weeks we didn’t mow until the day before they got back. Thick grass!I have 3 cords strung up to the bantam coop... no mowing to worry about as it is mostly under the trees, and we only have to mow a half dozen times a year at most.
sweet dreamsI’m off to bed too, lots to do tomorrow. Cleaning and outside chores. Wish this rain was done.
No. I really only need to put it on when it gets into low 30s, but the the older hens seem cold, so I sleep better if they are warm and comfy. You keep it yr round ?
Growing season for grasses ends with the rains, usually by mid May. Everything is brown by June, unless you water it. Stupid waste of water in this area.when the weather is decent we mow 2-3 times a week! When the parent left over the summer for a couple weeks we didn’t mow until the day before they got back.
