I have 3 cords strung up to the bantam coop... no mowing to worry about as it is mostly under the trees, and we only have to mow a half dozen times a year at most.

forgot garbage was today and our normal meds pick up is Christmas. We dont have back-up med. They said I can come eve and get it. Thats the day I will cook. What a pita.

Lol! I’d move it if I could. Closer at least. Carrying water is a chore at that distance.

when the weather is decent we mow 2-3 times a week! When the parent left over the summer for a couple weeks we didn’t mow until the day before they got back. Thick grass!

No. I really only need to put it on when it gets into low 30s, but the the older hens seem cold, so I sleep better if they are warm and comfy.

Growing season for grasses ends with the rains, usually by mid May. Everything is brown by June, unless you water it. Stupid waste of water in this area.
