And you've got the benefit of experience and wisdom. Imagine being indoctrinated with all this as an adolescent or teenager. Those years are hard enough. No one wants to talk about it. Boys' suicide rates are up, drug use is up, depression is up, high school grad rates down, and more girls heading to college than boys, but you rarely hear it in the news. No one is looking at the problem. Oh yeah, and school shootings are up, all done by males. You'd think there was a connection, maybe?

It's much worse than that. They demoralize the boys now. Every bad thing that ever happened to the country is a MAN'S fault. They are bad, evil. The messages are very clear and persistent. It's the way the history lessons are taught, it's the choice of literature in English. The girls feel free to say anything; the boys keep quiet so they aren't labeled sexist. I'm all for raising the status of girls and women, but you don't raise anyone up by tearing others down. That brings everyone down.

And then we have the cop in Newman, Ca shot in cold blood by an illegal alien. Guy was stealing beer out of a quick stop. They called the cops. Cops stops the car, guy shoots him dead. So senseless. Bet you don’t here about that on national news.

Glad I'm not in their generation. My boys got a counter-education from me and hubs. We call BS when we see it it, but you still have to be respectful. They both have turned out to be good people, and have resisted the brainwashing very well.

Told my gs not to listen to the schools when it comes to moral and religious issues. Listen to his parents. I heard where a school was trying to convert kids to Islam. Yet Christianity is forbidden.

They have had that on the local news a lot. Surprisingly, they report the shooter is here illegally. The aren't saying undocumented. Maybe the tide is starting to turn just a bit. Officer killed was also an immigrant, legally here from Fiji. (I think?)
