I never heard of goat pox. I did see goats at the sale barns with pustules, poor things.I've worked with lots of vets and all ways prefer those who take into account the clients ability to afford treatment over the ones in it to profit off our love for our pets. Knowing that theres almost always more then 1 way to treat illness or injury is important. But choosing the best way to help both the animal and the owner is what distinguishes a great vet from just a vet.
I have a goat question for you: did any of yours have goat pox? Seems it's a common problem around here. And we are considering some pygmies in the future. I just wouldn't know what to look for when buying some.
My parents made all of their own arrangements ahead of time, as well as for my Aunt. It was wonderful that i did not have to deal with it in my grief. Better to deal with it before the fact than try to work through it when grieving.View attachment 1650906
That sweet old face. She is getting a bit more frosting in her face.
Sigh. So, my nana’s not doing so well. They don’t know if she’ll last the ten days that the assisted end of life stuff takes anyway.
Is it weird my mom is already writing the obituary and planning the “celebration of life”? It just seems kinda morbid to me. She’s not dead yet. Yes it’s going to happen but...
He looks much better poor soul!Five days.
