Had the same thing happen to me. People want cheap. They think $5 for a bird is ok but anything more is outrageous.

OMG .... day old chicks are 2 to 15 bucks and that's with out an feeding or care or heat.

None of my birds are laying. I had a couple from the CCL and a Cochin then nothing.

mine seem to have picked up a little evidently the lard kettle which is now down by the coop and ready for a "NICE DAY" where we dunk them before plucking has "encourage the slackers" OR put the fear of the hatchet into them

watched a movie on Netflix about an French female doctor in Poland who helped out a convent of nun's that were raped by the Russian soldier's and a bunch of them ended up preggers. This takes place towards/at the end of WW II

they don't need it , have a built in black out lining. they are currently hanging and need to have a large plastic bag put over them before hanging in the closet until needed. They came out of one of my monthly rentals evidently he got new/different curtains for his place.
