All but one of the banty cochins. I'm not having any hopes on that black one being a pullet. She tricked me! she was feathered pullet until just a few weeks ago. In other news, those little orange roos LOVE sitting on eggs. I always find them on a couple each.

I think the little chick I helped is going to be a failure to thrive. I just did it a mischief . I havent seen it eat, drink nothing and I know it was born sticky so I wondered if it may have a film over its butt. I couldnt see the hole . I got a hot paper towel and put it on while holding him and yes, something big was there. it wasnt soaking off so I pulled. His butt was covered bus it was also attached to the umbilical. Only a drop of blood came but the other chicks are interested in that drop . IHe is shivering and I put a higher watt bulb in. I would tube him I dont know if I should. Would like to see him poop.

I would just keep giving it drinks of electrolyte fluid. By dropper. Will it drink if you dip its beak
