Well. BBC is no more. He was way too aggressive with the girls. Down to just Bucky. Guess that solves the problem of a batchelor coop. Just scrambled an egg for hedwig - waiting for it to cool. She’s hanging in the second bathroom for now since she’s so wet. My other unwell girl who I suspect eggbound - it’s either eggbound or water belly but her belly is hard. I tried to give her an epsom salt soak but she was having none of it. She ate some scratch with a will though - so she still has a healthy appetite.

Husband dispatched him with my permission. And reminded Bucky to be nice or else. Hubs waited outside and didn’t hear any panicked/pained chicken squaks with just Bucky in there so...

He did remind me that there was no point to roosters and blah blah blah. I told him I’d rather have a protector with spurs (once his spurs grow in - they’re just little nubbins now) cause we do have issues with raptors and small dogs. I hope Bucky doesn’t turn jerk on us now.
