Been cleaning coops today! 2/3 done. Got the older chicks moved outside and split the EEs from the bantams. That evil one stepped on my partridge Cochin it’s eyes are closed it won’t make it. That makes 3/6 of the Cochins gone.

I sold everything i took except one Cream Legbar Rooster!
And i bought two pairs of bantam cochins! I will sell one of the roos. They are a year old.

Went and watered and fed friends chickens. Came home changed shoes and now am hanging with my cluckers. Hubs is working on stuff. I should go do stuff but I’m feeling horribly unambitious. I should go do some more work in the front bed but I don’t want to do too much until I have plants to replace the empty spots. Thinking a small lantana for the middle. Maybe some African daisies on the other spots. They’re pretty and hardy! Or maybe I’ll just dig up my loonie lavender (got it from the discount shelf at Home Depot. It’s not fragrant at all sigh) and plop it in the middle. Replace stuff outside the actual bed with actual lavender or roses or something. Lavender is hardier than roses...

I have a rose bush that has been in the bag it came in for a year! It looks fine.
I bought Primrose plants today, i love them, especially the yellow ones. And i got 2 packs of tomato plants. With the ones i already started, i am going to have a ton of tomatoes!

Half of my original coop is empty now! Looking forward to cleaning it out and repainting. Going to replace perches and one set of nest boxes.
