On the yak front. The guy and his brother showed up at the same time as I was heading out to the vet appointment. SO I did not get out there. They spent at least 2/3 hours going back and forth looking at the animals and then visiting with Rod (tour guide) and then Robert as well. "VERY" interested but needed to go back home and fix some fence and put up so more first. He is thinking a month or so out and wants ALL 7 of the animals BUT didn't want to put down a down payment or holding fee. He understands if someone else (actually wants them ) he will be SOL. Robert figures there about a 70% chance that this guy will actually take them. 


Of course this mean's no YAK meat for me until next year at the earliest and then it would probably be old 19 so basically a hamburger cow. UNLESS I do a veal bull calf this fall.
