Granny's gone and done it again

Easter is a “floating holiday,” meaning it doesn’t occur at the same time each year. This year, Easter falls on April 21, which is relatively late in the year. Recent years saw the Easter celebration fall on April 1 (2018); April 16 (2017) and March 27 (2016). The last time Easter was this late in the year was in 2011, when the day was observed on April 24. It won’t be so late again until 2030, when Easter is also set to fall on April 21.
