I went out and replaced the leaking bunny waterer and refilled the 5 gallon bucket. Cut nails and trimmed one Lionhead buck. Caught out a few bantam cockerels to go to swap. After lunch i have to unload feed from the truck, put it in the Mule, and take it to Turkey Town . $8.99 for 55 lbs of layer crumbles!

morning. Drs woke me at 10. 7 hr sleep. They are changing Toms antibiotic. I guess whatever his urine grew the one he has now wont treat it. So, ya, I have to go to town again today . Its raining so I will be going alone . Not even my Star.

Too bad your pharmacy doesn't deliver. They might if you lived in town. Sorry Granny, everyone hates extra trips!

I made a frittata today. Anyone else ever made one?

Yes! Very yummy and I'm not fond of pie crust, so much better (and easier!) than quiche.

I take it orphingtons are broodies ? My mix w/ polish wants to kill me. I havent got eggs in 2 days. She is huge and I dont have gloves thick enough. Thinking 2x4.

Take a plastic cup with you and hold it over her head while you get the eggs.

My board is helping my legs a lot. kinda high for my arms to reach

Can you raise up your seat cushion... add another cushion or pillow underneath... to raise you up?
Would make it easier to get up from the chair too!

new commercial, the KFC guy is getting it on w/ Mrs, butterworth. A married bottle of syrup.

I thought those were disturbing. Promoting chicken and waffles... didn't go over well out here... commercials are gone, thankfully.

I only made the fritatta a couple times but I remember scrambled sausage, frozen taters and cheese w a ton of eggs and baking it til the eggs were way overcooked .

I read you are supposed to add a little dairy... cream, half and half, whole milk... about 1/2 cup per 8-10 eggs. Makes it creamier and more like a custard.
Hubs has a fat phobia, so I use 2%.

Cap, remember when my arm was hurting so bad I wanted to go to er? Thats where the new rash is. NP said thats what the pain was.

She originally thought it was fibro. Not sure which thing is worse.

I like tomatoes in my eggs.

yummm... me too. Even spoon tomato salsa over them. We had breakfast burritos for dinner last night. Mine had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, cheese, tomato salsa, sour cream, onions and cilantro. It was DELICIOUS.

Tom got to see his first bald eagle today. He was thrilled ! Right down my road about a mile.

Poor Tom. Glad they cultured. They should do it every time with someone his age. Hope the meds work this time.

I have loved every batch of Buffs we have ever had. Told the husband if I have to sell and move after I get this batch to next Spring I am going to scream. It has happened both of the previous times I have gotten them. It happens this time and I will know I am cursed and need to get another breed.
