Granny's gone and done it again

That's because crab apples are like weeds. They have been around forever... survivors!

The greenish stuff is probably some sort of lichen... an algae inside of a fungi. They produce their own food, and generally don't harm what they are growing on.
Thats all I see on the tree. Must be something wrong I cant see then. I dont like using chemicals
