Granny's gone and done it again

My sleep is very broken tonight because of the pain (full body aches) and also the stupid freaking cough and everything else. COVID. 🙄😭 but I have a plan regarding doctors so yeah.
Id be downing elderberry with honey tea like crazy. Also kombucha, and maybe various other hebs. Full body aches are no good.

Thanks! I used to have elderberry syrup but I used it all last cold a while ago lol and I need to buy some more honey. And all the other stuff. But I do have chicken noodle soup and ramen lol the full body aches are horrible. I think I have a vitamin C plus other stuff immune supplement too.

I spent a big part of my daughter teens trying to explain to a (just short of the spectrum) over achieving teen. That - "how can you dumb down" may have been meant as a complement about your friends IQ, but sounds like criticism.
Sounds like some conversations my hubby and I have. We are actually one extreme opposite sides of "the spectrum" so he has a very clinical understanding of behaviors and non verbal cues, but has a very wobbly definition of words, but im the exact opposite. We had a whole 2 hour conversation once about how me having a hard time looking him in the eye during a story or explanation actually means im probably intensely listening and thinking, not that I don't care. Also that squaring my body towards him feels like im threatening him.. not like im paying attention.

While I am too old for anyone to have ever figured out that I am also "not quite on the spectrum" because we had no idea back then. So talk to myself constantly - and made a very successful research interviewer because I look straight at people when talking to or listening to them and always seem interested. :lau

I have discovered that many of the older people I know would qualify under the new "spectrum" for instance our 70yr old farmer neighbor is exactly like me, loves starting new tasks, extremely active and imaginative, but struggle finishing tasks, no awareness of the passage of time, and comes off a bit "too familiar" to most people. Yep. We get along great! 👍 🤣
