They dumped a bunch of deductions. Didn't come close to covering it with the $24K "standard deduction". Never have any idea what our income will be year to year. So now will be paying big $$ in estimated taxes to make sure we don't get a penalty next year and for all I know, get most of it back next year .... or not.


You could choose not to use it.

Granny, I was thinking about your car issue. Here they have a business called "Good News Garage". People donate their old cars that can be fixed up then sold cheap to low income people. Maybe they have something like that near you?

Bruce, what happened to us was my husbands employer started taking out way less of withholding. I had to make a large payment during the year so we wouldn’t be hit with under payment penalty.

Ours are ok, but I don’t mind the sickly ones. I have the patience for it.

I don’t have the patience and I don’t need any more death.

I have put so much time and energy into saving new born puppies. I just can’t take the sadness.

Bruce, I remember one of those car lots in Mi. none of them run. I looked at a jeep today. Was very nice looking but nephew said they are prone to head gasket and timing problems.
