Mostly, my allergies are giving me trouble. And all these tick bites itch. Not too bad other than that.
My California valley quail finally started laying in the box. I let her keep 6 eggs, but she makes no move to sit on them. So I put them in the incubator. I still am not done their new enclosures.

so we have gone from heavy panting since late last night to not being able to get comfortable to "nesting" and occasional leakage to being TOTALLY SACKED OUT. Considering using the old maytag wringer on the washer BUT it's at the farm and probably buried in snow.

I received a letter from SSA. Inside was a second page saying if you need help and then a list of 50 or so different languages. I asked Robert why? If SS is for Americans and paid by our taxes do they feel the need for that ?
Well, That got him started. He said I told you that 20 yrs ago! I said Robert, come on, your only 25. He said yes, I was 5 yrs and we were sitting on the porch in detroit and a bunch of Mexicans came by talking in their language and I said they need to learn english or go back to where they came from and you got mad and said I was being racist and I shouldnt be like that. (Blown away) More was said by him to me like I am just now realizing what he has known all along, ect.... Point being, He was 5 yrs. old He remembers it all and thats scary. And no, its not a false memory. He remembers even younger.

Dang. He hasn't changed at all! Tell that boy to grow up!
I have memories from 2-3yrs. I remember the house we lived in and the little girl (Dolly) across the street and her bunny... black and white dutch.
