The government did weird things to some of the servicemen, spraying them with chemicals and such. Exposure to Agent Orange and so on. Makes you sick to think of it.

That didn't happen to dad..he got hurt at army Depot, broken back & lots of x-rays + cigar smoking caused lung cancer which spread to his brain. been gone 42 years & I sure miss him.

Hi Wishing! Not technically. I traded a young silkie for a young D'uccle. She is funny, very talkative.

D'uccle hens are supposed to be sweet. Roosters, not so much.

Been outside all day. Went in, took a shower so I could go to the store. Walked out the door and got hit in the face with what I thought was a big raindrop. Nope, bird chit.

Rude bird! Pardon my giggles.

The black and white is Lady, an angus/herford that we got at 4 days old. She was already on the bottle when we got her.

The brown is Bocephus, a Brangus bull that we picked up last Monday. His sale ticket said “weak” in the comments. He would not take a bottle so three of us would pin him against the barn and hold the bottle in his mouth. After a few days he took it on his own. So he’s thin, but should gain quickly now.

Bo is a Brangus! Never haerd of that... they are beautiful. I expect you are not keeping him a bull?

It is just the quail I already hatched just yelling. Oh, and the momma valley quail was setting on the eggs when I went in there tonight! I went in to take them, as she is up to 7 now .

If she settles down to set, will you let her hatch?

Happy memorial day. Stood up in church yesterday to remember my dad's service on ocanawa(sp) in wwll. Dh dad was radio signal man in France. My dad operated bulldozer to make airstrips. Dad died young at 54 from lung & brain cancer.

Not too many WWII vets left now. It's a good thing to remember, since they aren't teaching much about it in school these days. If it weren't for those men, we wouldn't be able to speak to each other. You'd be talking German, and me, Japanese.

Cupcakes are done. I have 34 minutes before before it starts and I haven't even started getting ready. Thank goodness they are a stones throw away from me.

Yes the ones are fugly. House is hot and they are melting and the bag busted 3x so I'm giving up.

The fugly ones look yummy. Is it nuts in the frosting? coconut?

Not sure if you all with dogs are aware of the dogs dying from eating grain free food. They rally don’t know the cause but a lot of 5he dogs are grainfree.
