Granny's gone and done it again

Unsolicited cock shot.

He has what almost looks like a scabby right at the tip of his comb (closest to the beak)

He almost attacked hubs foot earlier today. Gosh. It blows my mind the difference in his demeanor between hubs and I. But hubs was goading him on...he really wants an excuse to end him. Bucky needs to wise up.

They look about the size of my Easter chicks.

They are around 3 weeks old, some a few days more or less. I put them in a brooder as they hatched, 1-3 every day or so. The oldest chicks had wing feathers when I pulled the last babies. I should’ve let her keep setting, because the other broody didn’t hatch any. :(

Could that be a tick on him?

First thing I did was cut her toenails. The dew claws were grown around in a circle!
Poor girl! Glad you're there to take care of her!

My dogs have been neglected with grooming. I just haven't had 3+hours to spare for them. I did cut their nails the other day. But I need to trim them up and bathe them.

Waiting at line at Wendy's.
Allergic to cockroaches, dogs, cats, trees, pollen, mold.
That sucks. Excepting the roaches and mold, that's pretty much your whole life!

New bunny is adorable. Is calico in rabbits like cats, female only?

Sunny is super cute. You must have ants in your pants waiting for her. Will your other indoor critters accept a new dog easily? I bet they will be jealous.

thanks
Today is CBs Birthday. I baked him a butter cake. He dont like frosting but he ate half that cake. Said it was the best one he has ever had. 9x12 pan so 9x6in piece of cake. He is huge and his voice has changed.
So wonderful he came for a visit, except you will be hungry after he eats all your food. :p
How old is CB now?

No. It’s more like crusty scabbiness. I’d try to soak it but even though bucky’s pretty tolerant of me, I don’t think he’d like a warm compress against the base of his comb.
It doesn't look infected or anything, so best to leave it alone. He probably just caught it on something. Keep an eye on it, though.

I need to check all my rabbits' toe nails.
