My hubby wasn't impressed with my chicken order until I handed him cash to pay for it.

Went to RK this morning to look at some tool and a possible barn fan. We came home with 38 turkeys and 34 roosters. He is a sucker for a bargain. $1.00 Turkeys and most are heritage breeds and .50 cent roosters that we will end up eating.

My Turkey order will be here in the morning. The chickens this weekend. We managed to find somebody who can after work Friday or Saturday pick up the chickens.

I just went out to take care of the chickens. Looks like a chick hatched and probably was eaten. It hot out there !

Was supposed to rain here, but it never did. I even went out and cut plywood but only a few sprinkles. The radar looked like we were going to get hammered, but nothing! Now I need to water. Maybe that will make it rain.
