Wow, do you know how old she is..?

She has six teeth across the front, so that makes her three? They have 8 teeth at 4, so after that it’s hard to guess, according to that website I read. I counted six in her video yesterday.

I just looked at her quickly this morning. She was lively. I got the goat coop cleaned and per Sally’s suggestions, so now we wait. Sally said she helped a friend recently and they thought she would be any day, but it was another four weeks. So I’m just going to check on her often and make sure she’s got a clean house and good nutrition. Not trying to make anymore guesses.

I'm not gonna lie, she looks old to me. More like 6-8years. If shes 3 then shes been way overbred and been lacking proper care her entire life until she came to you.

I mentioned that folks were saying she looked overbred, but sally seems to think maybe just lots of babies at a time. Of course we’re all just guessing.

She’s going to be with me forever, I’ve already decided. I’m not an expert at goats, but I can do my best to make sure she’s ok. I also don’t plan to breed her again.

doe code lol have you dewormed her yet? I'm getting ready to do a repeat on Rowena. I noticed yesterday her belly looked full but I could see her hip bones big time. Everyone got dewormed on 6/1 but with the nonstop rain I wouldn't be surprised if shes carrying something.

Yes, dewormed and selenium+e yesterday. Today I’m going to do the fort b. I couldn’t find red cell yesterday, but I’ve given her alfalfa per an anemia treatment plan that sally shared with me.
