The only problem I've ever had dumping the fish store's water in my tank is snails. Must have been REALLY TINY or just eggs or something. It is best to check the pH and hardness of their water and compare to yours. Adjust yours to be closer to theirs.

Well you look gorgeous to me!!

Been very unambitious today. All I’ve done is a bunch of laundry. Otherwise been camped in front of the tv. Husband has been tinkering with his toy truck all day. Told him he needs to drive me to the grocery store so I can get some stuff and consult the pharmacist....since the drugs I’m on make my head feel kinda floaty so I don’t want to drive on em. He “is filthy and stinking of gear oil and solvent and wanted to keep working til dark” so fine. We’ll go after dark....and I’ll google my pharmacist question. (Looks like I can take mucinex with this stuff so yay there’s that...cause this tessalon stuff is useless on its own. Sigh) gonna just continue keeping it easy this weekend and drinking All The Teas.

yall, I have created a monster. Toms fish saga continues. Today he got another water change and a heater (mine) This tank is sitting on a shelf on his desk. He has decided he wants a bigger tank. a 10 gallon. He wants me to put an extra brace on his shelf . I said Listen Tom, I bought you a betta to put in a vase. simple and easy.. We have already spent way more then we should and we dont have the money to go buy you a 10 gallon tank. He asked how much are they ? I said w/ hood light probably $30. new. He said I have $40. I have been saving for you and Robert for Christmas. I said oh ya, and where did you get the 40? oh just change and stuff I been saving up for a long time. Then how did you get it in 2 crisp 20 dollar bills?
