just a quick pop in, have mass in a couple min then home to change, put the pups outside, Then farm to pour the main herd and check on them all AS according to Robert golfball sized hail last night for about 5 minutes. Then need to get back in clean puppy box and what not as I have a couple coming over about 7:30 to look at the pups. Wish me luck on ALL of it. BBL

Two more little Celadon egg layers hatched today! I have the California quail and these coturnix together in age groups, but will have to separate out later.

When they’re too hot they’ll usually spread out too won’t they? Ended up turning the heat lamp back down some more before finally going to sleep. Checked on em this morning and turned it down still more. All are well.

up the protein. Mine get catfish pellets added to feed during molt. Help some. Dont give a lot. Maybe 1/2 cup for every 4 cups.

Catfish pellets... I wonder if you can get anything like that around here. Where do you you buy them?

They are good but momma isn’t feeding unless I lay in there with her.

10 puppies is quite a lot to take care of. Is she a new mama?

Cream sounds pretty. Like a butter color ? I hope the last one comes ok for her. Did you help the breech?

The first kitten I ever got was when a friend's cat had kittens in 6th grade. First time I'd ever seen new kitties with their eyes closed. I chose the one that had the coloring of a Palomino (solid light cream) because I'd never seen a cat like that color. Went back later to get my little Snoopy and he wasn't there! Instead there was a little wheaten tabby in his place. Have to say I was a little disappointed, but Snoopy turned out to be a great cat and a good friend. We went roaming all over the farm together for years!

Me too. It's still in there. Between the ribs and hips.
