Granny's gone and done it again

Trying to scoop dog doo with 4 pups "helping" is truly an experience. I have one of those rake types that you wiggle under the pile and then lift up (doesn't destroy the grass) Well ANYTHING that wriggles in the grass must be "killed/investigated" by the entire committee.

Thanks Camping, I didnt/dont really think the way she talked about her added up to the way she acts.

Maybe not. But maybe. I can’t get jewel to go out in the mornings if I’m not all the way awake. My eyes are half open and voice is low, so she thinks I’m mad and she hides.shes an introvert.

you have an adult w/ some liver ? I thought you dont keep those ?
Maybe they will keep blue eyes !

liver males always , black and white females only. that have one liver parent. Then you get both liver and black pups. Black is actually dominate

I had a feeling I should pull the chicks in case of snakes this evening. I was just about to tell DH how we hadn’t seen any this year but I stopped myself. Didn’t want to jinx it. So I go to grab the chicks and there are FOUR snakes in the coop. Two are eating eggs, one is agitated on the floor, one is hiding in the hay. I grabbed the chicks and put them in the brooder, but one isn’t going to make it. Not sure if mama hurt it trying to fight off the snakes, or if I did when I grabbed it. It was making that gasping motion with its eyes closed. :(

I was at the humane center talking to a vet and she said the way they tell if a dog has been beat is by raising their hand in the air. Said if the dog flinches then it most likely has been. I am thinking thats not true now. They also said by 4 months they have socialized all they are going to and if they have bad behavior then they will have it forever
