hay bill was $1625.00 this year BUT with last year's carry over and the hay I got off the farm this year I might actually have enough hay for 2 winters on the place now.

What's the price of hay out your way? We make our own. Prices have slowly risen here over the past few years.

this year large round bales of prarrie hay and alfafa mix was about 55 bucks a bale , figure the bales were between 1500 and 1750 pounds per bale.

On occasion. I gotta be craving them. Otherwise they gross me out if I think about which chicken they came out of, and what they are made of. I do love cheese, probably too much, but I am from Wisconsin.

there is a lot of brome in these bales , the yaks LOVE brome and makes them nice and shinny as well.
