Granny's gone and done it again

@oldhenlikesdogs Question please, I bought some pea gravel from Lowes today. When I rinse it and add to the tanks is it going to destroy the good bacteria ?
Nope, it should be fine. Bacteria in your tanks will colonize it. After its been in a tank, rinsing it will wash away bacteria, or if removed from the water bacteria will die.

Thank you. My gravel is thin in the tanks. I wish I had bought this straight off. Someone here told me to but I wanted black. So I have one black and the rest are this color

I eventually just went to pea gravel too. You can get a bitty bag of aquarium stones for about 3-5 bucks, or a 40-50 pound bag of pea gravel for about the same price. This way too I don't feel bad if I gotta dump some rock I don't want to clean too.

Oh and a little baby pothos plant. Last one in town for the season. That will also go in a filter I guess. Its going to take me forever to figure out this driftwood.
So you are trying planted tanks? I tried and failed at that. :)

Sorta. I only have java moss but H2o is going to see if she can collect me a different one. I guess they grow about everywhere but I havent found any. The pothos I have heard you cant kill them. LOL Give me a min. I probably will.
Im lazy about water changes and these will take the kaka out of the water I have been told.
