she still just a "young thing"![]()
and who is she named after?what a flipping day. Back said "um no" to me getting the doors.
Then Robert calls about 4 pm and "sometime" Martinika girls tore thru the electric fence and went on a walk about. Rod claims he needs more then just himself to get them back. Fine got Gene to come over raced out to the farm and the only heifer to be seen is Curly who is just hanging around and still not in a flipping pen. Then Rod and I go to see what we can do about the rest of the girls. BUT he decides to ride with me in stead of 2 vehicles. Got caught in a cloud burst and hail storm. The girls went thru and or over multiple TOTAL CRAP fences and are still loose in the neighbor to the west's 6 quarters of land which is divided by an NO vehicle crossing creek with as much rain as we have had. Stopped and talked to him he said go ahead and do what you need to do to catch them and if not "no big deal" we can get them when they run in their herd and separate calves. Home about 8 or latter. Feet frozen.
Evidently IF I can figure out how to get the motel coverd. all three of us (Rod, Robert and Myself) are going to try again tomorrow are going to use separate truck and see what we can do. WHY the FARK "we" didn't do that tonight I have no idea. I was so torked I almost ran into/over Martinika as she is the ringleader. ON PURPOSE

now when she's been here 8 years it may be time to "cull" her depending upon production![]()
OMG Twist. I jinked you again. I am so sorry you had such a day. I hope tomorrow goes better. You might end up having more meat then you planned on if you cant herd them back.
