Folks, got a friends request on face book from a cousin that has never spoken more than 2 words to me my whole life. He's 11 years older then me and he has never visited my parents/siblings or I. He's always lived about 2 hours from us. he was a no show for both of my parents funerals/showings no calls/letters either. Ditto for graduations of me and my brothers (form high school or college), and both Brothers' weddings. I found out were he lived and went by his house when I was in his town, he sent his wife to the door to send me away. he never asked for # or address and never did try to contact me back. that's been almost 20 years ago. am I okay to ignore his friend request? I really don't want to see him or communicate to him since in my 44 years he has in essence made it a point not to know me, or have anything to do with me. I really don't know WHY he sent me this request. I would have rather not have any contact until the next family funeral (if he shows). Or am I wrong in not accepting this?
