Maybe if it was a snapper it could do some damage. We had a few that tore chunks out of a calfs legs. He stayed out of the pond after that.

Poured rain here all morning. Tornado warning just over. Lake in the orchard. Bella had rolled her doghouse out of reach so she is soaked. Oh my.

Morning all -- thought I'd pop in and wish you all a good Saturday before I get up and running. Headed to the lumber yard here in a bit to start pricing out some things. Starting to debate skipping a brooder and go straight for coop construction and just brood the chicks right in the coop - it's taking some getting used to the idea of having electricity in my coop this time around. If I go today I can catch DH and FIL both at the yard and that will get FIL's wheels turning.....getting his mind fixed on something is the key to getting things done around here, lol.
