well today is a "Day of Rest" so cuddle up with the kids, a good movie or book, maybe a dog or cat and a nice cup of herbal tea.

went grocery shopping yesterday , Spent about 100 buck BUT save over 70.00 by shopping sales. Butter was 3 pounds for 10 bucks instead of over 6 bucks a pound, and then other stuff.

not quail, we don't have them up here, BUT mainly Pheasant YES and then sharp-tailed grouse and Hungarian Partridge if he can get them. Also doves are in season.

I made up for it. Gve Robert $60. and a short list then went in w/ him and grabbed a couple other things and it was $120.00 Leaving me $20.00 til payday.

supposed to be about 34* for a high tomorrow and we are running the herd thru the rodeo grounds, giving 7-way shots to the adults and the 2 YOUNG calves staying with their mom's and then pulling/cutting out the other 6 and moving them done with Curly and the girls. I won't give them a shot for a couple weeks as they will be "stressed" from being away from the cows/momma's
