Granny's gone and done it again

Nope. Last game of the World Series, being played live in Houston.
When I worked barmaid a regular would come in and we would watch boxing . He would always bet me a dollar on who the winner would be and he would always win. He left the dollar for a tip. Someone finally told me that the same fight came on twice a day. :gig

What a gentleman! At least he only bet a dollar. How much did he tip?

That problem Robert has says peppermint oil can work . What would one do to get that down?

I was checking on the fire status. Still burning. They are saying it won't be contained until Nov. 7. Still lot of people evacuated and a lot are without power. The big winds last night and today must have gone right over us... little breezy, but that was it. I relaxed enough to empty one of the bath tubs... bucket by bucket... I watered the plants. :D Will be nice to have our shower back!
Fire burned up near a really cool wildlife park happened to them 2 yrs ago too. Some staff stayed to care for the animals and fight fire too and neighbors helped. They have some really cool birds.

LOL She worked at a different bar down town and when I got pregnant w/ Robert she told everyone Doug Webb was the father. He got wind of that and come storming in the bar wanting to know if it was true I was pregnant and told me what my sister had done. :gig EVERYONE, including his wife was on to him. hahahaa

I think that's the earliest day possible. They estimate how much fire line they can tackle each day. We are not expecting any more strong winds. Hopefully the humidity will get back to normal. We were down to 11% one day. My lip are all dry and peeling. :sick Humidity is usually in the the upper 70s year round. So dry... made the fire much worse. This cycle of early autumn fires has been standard, but the last 6 yrs or so have been very severe, especially here in the north bay area. I will be happy when the rain comes. They are saying first chance is Nov 10. Just too dang dry.
