I am never ,"done". But I did shovel a wagon load of poo out of the barn, and moved a brooder in there. Then I moved the youngest chickens in. The two Mille fleurs died, I suspect the others trampled them. Hopefully no more losses with them in the barn. And the frame for the gate is painted.

No, it wasn't a pine. Not sure what it was, it had no leaves left. I need to go get my plants out of the work shop. It's cold out there. I am going to have to put the paint under the house.Another pine? You sure have a lot of trees. Hopefully most of the weaker ones have been dealt with.
We have some camphor trees along the fence with one neighbor, and they are such trashy trees... or maybe I just need to take better care of them. Branches sprout up so fast, they can't support their own weight and lay out flat along the ground. Then about 10 new upright "trees" strat growing from the horizontal branch. Ugh. They're weak too, just snap right off. I bet they are quick burning too.
