Granny's gone and done it again

How many beds ,& baths? Looks good. Is this the one with a shed?

There is a shed, but this home was listed on fb and had only a handful of pictures. Today there was a tractor in the yard and also one in the garage.

Hmm. Not sure about rosemary and lavender those suckers love to get baked. But cute!!!

There’s mature timber all around, so I’m worried about getting enough light for anything. That one patch of sunlight was the only one on the street while we were driving around at 11. Maybe afternoon is different.

I went in the coop today and one of my Gold Laced polish cockerels was dead! Only thing I could find was lice or mites, with maybe egg sacs around the feathers on his neck. So now I am upset, my skin is crawling, and how the heck do I treat this with this awful weather?

Sorry for your loss. Get some permethrin powder for the birds and some permethrin spray for the coop.

sorry for the loss Cap, you will just have to do the best you can. The permethizine or whatever its called just a drop or 2 on the back of their neck after they go to roost
I will need to get some.

Maybe you dont need to do a deep clean Cap if you do a good saturation on the perches, nest box ect.. Make it easy on you but make sure you repeat it again I think its 10 days. If they are so heavy their killing birds I would also slip them some rooster booster . I kinda think their not but polish seem to be their target.

It does need a good deep clean , maybe we will have a warmer day this week to do it. I will also have to do the giant cochins since they have half of the same coop.
