I think you are the only person I know that can squeeze an egg out of a 5 yr. old hen. And they look good

I am really impressed with the EEs. Healthy, heat and cold tolerant, good layers and come in a variety of colors. Mine are fairly large too, so for those that eat them, it would be worth their while. The Welsummer, I'm impressed that she's alive! haha! They get out every day and eat bugs and grass and apples when available. I don't put lights on them either.

evidently Wishing's happy hens lay better then my Fearful one. But then I don't think I have a 5 year old hen out there.

Nooooo! don't try it !! At least not hard. You could turn a partial rupture into a complete one. There are other ligaments beside PCL (ACL is a common one people hurt). I only showed that one because I know about it!

The vet palpated and pulled and prodded and moved Belle's knee joint around. She was limping when we went in, and would not put any weight on it at all when we left. Moron vet. I read later that was the worst thing he could have done. Set back her rehab by months!!

I had about 8 of those wind eggs that I blew out and painted. they were the cutest little things in my bird nest decoration. GKs broke every one of them.
Wishing ! Dang it . Hurts pretty bad now. I shouldnt of tried to move it. Do I need it looked at or wait a while longer ?

My dr Seuss birds are laying a pinkish egg. I think I can make millions on them. I like me EE s I got from mcmurrays. They are partridge colored and lay a pretty blue egg. My chicken area is a swamp. If it had been like this last year I don't think I would have kept chickens. It stinks now.

how big an area is it ? PZD and shavings is about all I know. I tried the horse stall dry. It sucks
