Quote:Hi Linda! How's it going this morning? The apron you are working on looks great! Once you get the hang of the machine, it will be easier, but honestly, sewing can be pretty tedious. Put on some good music and enjoy that while you sew.![]()
Hi wishing ! LOL I'll be back

Your mom is smart. I get to the point where I don't care how it looks, I just want to finish. Taking a break is best. What is the backing for? Is it a reversible apron? I've made simple ones and never put any sort of backing on them.

Sure, granny, we all believe that.............lolGood Morning Camping !
Anything fun for the day ? I got my bator moved to the new table I bought for it. Looks much better . Its all metal but looks like a marble top with black legs sorta matching everything else. No plans on using it anytime soon but its ready . LOL
Sounds like a great day - darn kids grow so fast!I do have fun plans! Going to spend the day in big town with my friend Katie. Got a big stack of the kids' fancy clothes (Christmas dresses/suits) that I'm taking to a resale shop. Then I'm taking that money and buying them fall/winter church clothes. DD doesn't have any shoes or clothes that aren't for summer or school and even though it's still warm, eventually it'll turn.
I raised them from eggs. I had mostly females. neighbor down the road a bit had males and they came here and too up. stayed all winter then spring the males went home and my girls followed them. LOL
Happy Birthday to your GGD -- I hope you have a very special time together with your family tomorrow. I am so sorry your daughter is not able to be there with you all for itWell as long as he took good care of them I can see your point. They seemed to choose the boys instead of your house. Granny I have got to get some housework done. Today is my great granddaughters birthday and she is coming over tomorrow for cake and icecream and presents. She is 2 today and she is such a sweetheart. If I had a baby like her I would have had 10 kids but I only had the one. My daughter passed away when she was 23 in a car wreck and we have raised her two sons. They are 22 and 24 now they were 9 months old and 2 years old when they come to live with us. I think we needed them as much as they needed us.
Already drama this morning with the kids but I will survive. Hahahaha I still have to see the backing on so that will truly tell if it came out right or not. Mom made me stop last night, she says when you work on a project all day and you are almost finished is when you make mistakes. So she recommended I did the rest today so I wouldn't rush

I teach my new quilters the 3-mistakes rule. After 3 mistakes you shut it down and walk away. Doesn't matter how big or small, or when they happened. After 3 you're done for the day.
Did you keep yours in the coop for six weeks?
