Granny's gone and done it again

Colleges are raking in the big bucks at the expense of these young people and no incentive to lower costs or provide quality education. It's ridiculous.
Yep and (how odd ;) ) a lot of schools are having a hard time filling their open slots, even big ones like Penn State. Two very small colleges in Vermont closed this year and a couple of years ago 2 of the state colleges merged to cut expenses.

She will shocked when you get a better job somewhere.
With a better boss!

I bought this light at the camp fundraiser auction.
That is really nice. Looks like it might be kind of old, might be worth looking for similar lamps on eBay just to get an idea. I found lights like we have in the dining and living room. One of the few nice things in the place when we bought it. The slipper shades (if you can find them) are $70 each and there are 5 in each fixture.

If it happens. I mean let’s be honest. I don’t have the proper edumacation.
OTJ! List the things you do. Your experience makes you a much better new hire than someone just out of college.

Gone are the days of going in with a resume.
Yep. Fill out the online one, get a robo response that they got it. Then wait to see if they are interested enough to contact you. Then maybe you get an interview. Then you wait to see if they are interested. Better than even odds that you won't hear back if they aren't interested. Can't even bother to send a "no thanks" email.

Your welcome. Do you have a nick name or will we give you one ? Im not calling you love or chicken. hahaha
You could shorten her name, call her 25.

Ugh. Think my Brahma has some scaly leg mites. Can you use bag balm instead of vasoline for treatment?
Castor oil. Anti inflammatory, antibacterial good for the skin and will smother the little nasties. Plus, unlike petroleum jelly, it won't attract every stray bit of junk to stick to the leg.

She looks for experience and a good personality fit for the office.
:thumbsup Smart woman!

We have a furnace, but it's expensive, houses of this era are poorly insulated.
Can you get insulation blown into the walls? Minimally you can get it blown into the attic, it will help a lot.

Cap, Hows your fish doing ? Mine act like their starved to death and they been fed twice today. They eat better then I do.
Better to not feed them too much, just makes the tank nasty. Some years ago we got some fish from friends that were moving. They only fed them 3 or 4 days a week. I feed once in the morning.

I feed tiny amounts. I know their stomach is about the size of their eyeballs. And I like scavengers, so they eat any left overs.
