Hubs pulled this up on his phone and is sitting here laughing away!
Yup, like all school holidays in a college town. Got to get my kid a vehicle so he can drive home.Supply and demand. Only so many rooms and all those people who want to stay on the weekend and lose their money. Economics 101. Have you ever looked at the price to fly somewhere? It's ALL over the place depending on day and time. Can be over twice a much one day as another.
That's only if there is a disaster or emergency, then limits go into effect for how much prices can be raised. Non emergency, they can charge what they like. Prices will balance out because there will be some smart retailer who will drop the price a bit and then someone will drop it more to make the sale. Unless you are in Bozeman, MT looking for a hotel room at the beginning of freshman year! Good rooms go quick, and we got stuck paying more than we'd hoped.if the grocery or gas stations do it they call it price gouging.
Thanks, Are you ok? Everything finished up?
Dog follows me around the house and ends up crashing into my legs when I come to a sudden stop after entering a room... standing there trying to figure out why, what, huh?
oy vey!
How did things go back at camp? Kids like their new school? Do you?
She seems like good people. My Nancy is asking about Tom.
Oh Granny!Of course I bluffed my way through that whole lady on FB thing. I dont know any lady . hahahaa
Art club sounds like a good thing. Hope she gets in. Good to make a friend so close by. How about your neighbors? Nice or ?We’re making it. I have a few loose ends left, should be all tidied up in a few days.
Kids are fine. DD wasn’t accepted into art club. I need to double check this, as I thought clubs were for anyone interested.
Turns out we know the dad of a neighbor down the road- neighbor is our age with a daughter DD’s age. So DD has gone with them to a school event and over there once for a movie. Both kids are eager to ride their scooters around the neighborhood, but we aren’t ready. So they go from the corner to the neighbor three houses down (where they catch the bus) and back up to the corner.
I remember my DD was 12 asking to cross the street to go play and I told her no.We’re making it. I have a few loose ends left, should be all tidied up in a few days.
