It was the first born on Monday but it was a rough delivery. When she did start pushing just the head came out. The hoof of 1 leg came out with the neck. And the sac had been broke and the tongue was hanging out. Once I had him dried off he seemed fine but now
He is drinking off mom but he is the smaller of the 2 and I caught the older buckling from Molly nursing his mom! So I put them in jail with her. He's not as aggressive as his brother and he gets knocked off while drinking

Yeah seizures are a PITA. Limits a ton of what you can take OTC. I couldn't take Pamprin or Midol, I had to get prescription muscle relaxers from my doctor. There were times I ran out of them and would have loved to just head to Walmart an grab a bottle and be done.

I wonder if the type of seizure makes a difference...
Not going to risk it.

Hanging in there. The smallest is struggling. I'm going to syringe milk into him in the morning before I put him with mom. He's got a bit of a sneeze too, I thought I sucked everything out Monday but it could be where he was in awhile too long during labor.

Not the best pic but this is what Geminis stomach looks like. Medicated shampoo is helping but it only lasts so long. I wish he would have done a skin scrap on her. Not like I didn't pay a little over $100 at that appointment anyway.

I wanted to mention that I had a cat once that was allergic to fleas, so if she was bit by even one, she broke out all over. Solution? I had to keep her indoors. Can't do that with a dog. My vet gave her a cat version of prednisone. Can't remember what it was called. And I gave her medicated baths. She would end up getting so much worse than Gemini. Even though she was never allowed out, she was an escape artist. She, like most cats, wanted to feel the fresh air and experience the smells and adventure of the great outdoors.

We went to 4 pet stores, 4 second hand stores, the Restore, Rural King, Walmart and a grocery store!

suck news from the dr today. The wound grows larger and no more debridement. Not working. He needs surgery to open his blocked arteries within the week is the time frame the surgeon gave him. If they can get him unblocked then they will talk amputation. Nurse is working to find someone. We will probably end up in Louisville . Wont know IF they will even find someone willing to put him under for surgery. So ya, theres that. I havent heard back from Roberts blood work yet. Praying for both my boys. Dr thinks he has a growth on his thyroid.

Who did his last artery clearing? And why didn’t they do both legs?

It lowers the seizure threshold in general. So it increases the chance of them. That's what my doctors told me. I had grand mal but I'm sure it's not specific although some seem more drastic than others.
