Wishing, I looked at some pictures from that place and boy was it beautiful inside. Breakfast in the ballroom. LOL Ceilings were very ornate.
Rather sleep in the van though then on a bedspread someone has been booging on.

Rod had to pull Porter out of the creek evidently Porter had a hind leg stuck? behind him and couldn't get out. As of darkish he hadn't "really" moved from where Rod left him up and out of the creek.
Said it didn't look like a broker leg to him and he has worked cattle for years. Should I have to haul him to the vet not sure how I would either get the trailer down to him or him up to the gate to load him up. AND not sure the vet would be willing to work/check on Porter in the middle of the big pasture.

Oh no. Hope he is okay. Creek is like a giant Martin-hole for poor Porter.
Very glad that Rod saw him down there. Otherwise might have been another unexplained mysterious death.

Her eyes are just like mine. Used to be brown and very little of it remains. We even have the same shape.
I dont think I can stay at any motel w/o a credit card . I am just going to hope they dont keep him. I cant imagine making 2 trips and one of those being alone.

I'm sure they would take cash... might need a little extra to use as a deposit. The place was pretty, but the stairs might be a problem for you, and I bet you can't smoke.

Chicks, older chicks, cockerels, I think at least 3 of my 3 year old Crested Cream Legbar hens, polish roosters, a bunch of rabbits, the male Turkey, Coturnix Quail, and California valley quail.

Thats a truck load ! Are you getting rid of all your Ca. quails ?

NOPE I/we use a clothes washer not people. Cant get 2 people and a bedspread in the washer either.

That what SHEETS are for, my dear. They are washed fresh along with the pillow cases. You don't sleep on the bedspread.
