Granny's gone and done it again

Home again. The pet store up there was dirty and smelly as usual. Idk why I stop there.
My friend said she had a sick goat, so she didn't go. My last Turkey is gone. Three rabbits sold. Sold some CA quail, and other people seemed interested in them. Sold all the female Coturnix I took. And some of the males. The 2 giant cochin pullets are sold, and the 2 bantam cochins. I can't seem to get rid of that bantam rooster. He may be named Soup.
good day at the swap. Why are you getting rid of this he quail. I was thinking of doing them to drink their raw eggs.

Because I can only do so much, and I am not enjoying all the work. I have a lot of gardening to do too. If you want me to send you eggs, I will.

Just finished weighing all the cats and checking Shadow out a little better. Nugget is 13 lbs. Olga is 16 lbs and Shadow is 9 lbs. He used to be the biggest cat here at 18 lbs I think. I cant find his paper work right now. Wishing, his whites are a bit blood shot , no yellow, His teeth are about gone ! One brown the rest normal No odor from his mouth or body
Well gee, 9 lbs is what he should have weighed all along! Nothing else wrong... sounds like he has Old Cat Syndrome.

Enjoy your marathon sleep, especially since you won't be sleeping tomorrow night. :hmm

Don't forget about the time change tonight!

Cap I was watching a YouTube video of a roll away nest box made from a paint roller pan covered in artificial grass. The deeper part of the pan was covered with a hinged board. Hard to explain in a text but his chickens took right to it.

ETA. I can't seem to get the link to copy and paste tonight

It's ok, I will figure it out. Thanks.

Shalom Benny! That was great. I'm so glad Methuselah has a chance at a mate. Wouldn't that be something... to eat a date that's been extinct for 2000 years. Hopefully the DNA wasn't damaged after all that time.
My grandma used to make cookies every Christmas, and always included date bars. For years, I have been trying to find her recipe. Not even sure what type of dates she used. I have some called Deglet Noor that were grown here in California. Very sweet. Almost too sweet!

Happy to see that Israelis drive on the "proper" side of the road. :D
Shalom L!
I am glad you found it interesting, it is really incredible to grasp that a 2000 years seed can germinate! I am hopping to that one of the other will be a female tree! (TAMAR (תמר )in Hebrew the male is calld DEKEL (דקל))
