Granny's gone and done it again

Well gee, 9 lbs is what he should have weighed all along! Nothing else wrong... sounds like he has Old Cat Syndrome.

Enjoy your marathon sleep, especially since you won't be sleeping tomorrow night. :hmm

Don't forget about the time change tonight!
He has to be very underweight Wishing. All you can feel on him is bones and skin. Tom said he got out of his bed this am and just stood in one spot for a couple hrs. He is dying, of that I have no doubt. From what I guess dont really matter. Being comfortable is everything. IMO and theres nothing I can do about that right now. I have already spent an extra $150.00 on fridge and microwave.
And even after you reminded me twice about the clocks I forgot. LOL

Seems to be a boy year. 4 boys and 1 girl so far. 1 doe left to kid. And so far all blue eyed babies.
Without a doubt he wasn't coming out on his own.

LMAO it's that way EVERY year (except one) at my place yet another reason I do NOT try incubating eggs.

Vera Donovan : Sometimes, Dolores... sometimes, you have to be a high-riding bitch to survive. Sometimes, being a bitch is all a woman has to hang onto.

from the movie Delores Clayborn starting Kathy Bates LOVE her!!!

Sorry about Friday I just plain couldn't deal with Porter questions.

Finally got the ENTIRE story out of Rod like pulling teeth, he isn't very good with explainations in the best of times. SO Porter evidently slipped on the mud which was on top of the FROZEN ground and slipped/fell badly and was laying in the running creek wedged up against an outcrop of dirt/rock/sod/frozen earth with one hind leg sticking straight out behind him. Rod slipped and fell on his way over to Porter and actually slid into Porter on the way down to wrap a rope around Porter's horns in order to pull him out. He got Porter out BUT by then was to dark to much else. By Friday early/mid morning Porter had gone to join Enola, Star, Sheila ,19 and Janet. I/we suspect possible broken/damaged spine and/or hypothermia did him in.

SO this year's calves will be his last BUT I still have Tibbits until I get a heifer from him. Plus Hailey, Granola, Martinika, Lizzie B, Cassie, Equinox, Curly, Annie are all his daughters and currently going to keep 5 of those. (I think that is right, brain hurts)

RIP Porter

Oh , this just breaks my heart! So sorry Twist. I was hoping this year would be better for you. I wonder if the fire department might have helped.
