Hello and welcome to Granny's thread. Just a few people pop in and out during the daylight hours here. Usually gets busy after dark. Myself, I sleep all night and nap all day. Well, mostly.

Thank you! lol, I wish I could fall asleep that easily! I'm not a night owl necessarily, I actually prefer to go to bed early and get up early but my body seems to have other ideas and keeps me up later than I would like and then dragging myself out of bed in the morning.

I've heard they're increasingly difficult to find at the feed stores right now because so many people are getting started with chickens due to the current circumstances. Have you ever thought about hatching some in an incubator?

Yeah....

Yes, I've thought about that....but it seems pretty hard and I don't think I'm ready. Besides, I need chicks asap.

There is a bit of a learning curve but chickens hatch in 3 weeks which is remarkably quick when you think about it!
