Yes I have about 20. Started out with 10. which doesn't look like much but they will breed in the right conditions. I use my well water unfiltered. But every ones well has different water quality so you will want to test yours. Shrimp will eat algae but not in a noticeable amount.

Been working on the back fence line to get the Sheep area fully fenced and enlarged. I am too tired and sore. Got the backline done. Now to do the 250 ft of the south side of the lot and sheep can go eat all the brush.

Stopped early today.

1 - Quad died so no more dragging pallets up the hill for now.
2 - Left ankle/foot hurts. I stepped wrong.
3 - Back is hurting from manually dragging pallets up the hill.
4 - Bob is supposed to be home tomorrow


We lost our buck rabbit this week. He was stiff when we found him. Boys believe the Buck cage is cursed. I do too as that is the third buck to suddenly up and die. May just cull all of the rabbits and wait a bit to get more. It would be my excuse to get the breeds I and the boys want. Looking at Americans and Harlequins. I will see what Bob says when he gets home.

I have Chicken and Dumplings in the Insta-Pot. BTW finding from scratch dumplings is almost impossible. Everybody uses canned biscuits. I like my dumplings but lost the recipe in the fire. I just realized when the boys asked for chicken and dumplings for dinner. Last time I made it we were in Wisconsin.

Gonna lay down. A nap should help the foot to heal.

I thought sheep preferred grass? Goats love brush.

I started the pen today for the playground coop! Two sides are existing fences. I put up a 4x 10 panel that is chain link. I started building a side made of lumber so I can have a door in it. And I started working on the roof of the pen. I cleared away a bunch of brush, but there are still 5 or 6 trees I need to work around.
