Granny's gone and done it again

The baby chicks outside got fed, and all of Turkey Town. The rest were fed last night.
I went to Turkey town and built one wall for the hoop coop run. I got more wood off the pile, I will need to make a door. The other 2 walls are going to be chain link panels. Also loaded up a pile of turkey poo, brought it to where the new garden is.
Chicks hatching in the Incuview, first 3 are polish.

Yeah, 6 years and I still regret it. Life goes on.

Let it go. We try not to feed them to the girls. Though the girls have been known to grab em anyway...
Funny story with Crazy White Chicken. We hear her hollering away and she keeps getting closer and closer til she’s just outside the garage door singing the song of her people. So I look out the window and sass her a bit (usually if it’s egg song this stops it) but she keeps hollering. So I grab a shirt (just got out of the shower) and head to the patio door (remember she’s the only one who can break into the dog run lol) so she sees me come out and runs over. Still with what I’ve now figured isn’t eggsong (though it may have started out that way) but is aaah what is going on song. Look outside. No other chickens to be seen. Whaaat. So outside I go. She follows me, hollerin the whole time. We find Sam and one of the marans in the nesting boxes....but where is everyone else! So look in the normal places - not under my turdwagon, not under Jesse’s work truck, so I start crossing the shop pad to see if they’re by the trees.
And then, we found them. Crazy white chicken was still a little behind me and hollering away. The girls saw me and watched me silently until crazy white chicken saw them too....runs over and ceases her drama.

...I think they were hiding from her lol

I got most of the string beans planted, fixed my trellis, and did some painting of the raised beds.

The ground is uneven, so they look crooked. But hubby will level them up.

Dang cap. Well. Got my irrigation to my big bed tweaked. Planted some seeds in a little seed planter thing inside...two watermelon, three bell peppers and two cucumbers. Not sure where they’ll all go....but we’ll figure it oot ;) got the lines a little buried too.
And. Vermin be afraid. I have finally figured out (thanks YouTube!) how to set the darned gopher traps. I still fully intend to let hubs deal with them if they catch anything but I’ve gotten tired of not being able to and hubs being distracted by other things. He tried to show me once but....he’s not a very good teacher.
